Rosemary-Lemon-Salt
A perfect gift from the kitchen
The herb salt with fresh rosemary and lemon can be made at home in no time at all.
The recipe

300 g coarse sea salt
3-4 stems rosemary, fresh
1 big lemon (zest)
The preparation
Put the salt into a bowl.
Remove the rosemary leaves and place them on a cutting board. Chop with a sharp knife very finely.
Wash the lemon under hot water, dry it and peel it finely. Make sure not to remove the white part of the lemon.
Add the rosemary to the salt together with the lemon zest and mix everything thoroughly.
Place the salt on a baking tray that has been covered with a baking sheet and let it dry in a cool, dry place for about 3 to 5 days or in the oven for 2 hours at 30-40 °C. Occasionally open the oven door in order to make sure the moisture can evaporate.
Put the salt into a salt grinder and use it to refine your dishes.
SUGGESTION: When stored in airtight glasses, the salt enjoys a long life and is a perfect gift.
